Amur Leopards are the world's rarest cat species and have been listed as Critically Endangered for almost 30 years.  Logging and farming are threats to their habitat, and even with lots of protections around them, they are still hunted for their beautiful coats.  Amur leopards have thick fur for the cold climate they live in, and their large rosettes (spots) are unique to each leopard, like a fingerprint!  They are nocturnal, super stealthy, and prefer to be alone.  They are skilled hunters and have been known to drag their dinners up into trees where they can sit and feast without worrying that other animals may steal their food!
